String lights are super popular: they are used for event decor, for holiday decor and just to light up the spaces in a cool and informal way. String lights are a very budget-friendly and cute way to highlight some space, to light it up, to separate the spaces and so on. Today I’d like to share some ideas to use string lights in your bedroom, which will make it magical, cozy, comfy and very welcoming. Let’s have a look at some examples!
Bed Canopies With String Lights
If your bed has a canopy or you’ve made it using some airy and sheer fabric of your choice, you may incorporate string lights into the canopy or attach to the outer part. This will make your sleeping space magical, beautiful and cozy, and you will enjoy looking at these lights while falling asleep. It’s a great idea to make your bed look wow, even if it has the simplest design ever.
String Lights Over The Bed
Even if you don’t have a canopy, you can still make your sleeping nook magical! First of all, you can make a creative string light headboard – attach the lights to the wall in the shape or pattern that you like. Second, if your bed is next to the wall, you may hang string lights on this wall. Be creative – make a fun pattern, imitate rain or else. Hang the string lights with Polaroids on them to enjoy the lights and memories – such an idea will instantly raise your mood. You may also hang string lights over the bed – on a shelf, on a ledge, create installations and hang string lights as rain coming from the ceiling. If you want a warmer feel, go for warm-shaded lights, and on the contrary.
